WHAT ARE VIRTUAL NEWBORN SESSIONS?
It started out with a feeling of helplessness during the beginning of Covid in 2020. My clients- and new parents all over the world-who had their hearts set on getting those once in a lifetime posed, sleepy baby photos would no longer be able to. How could I possibly do a newborn shoot if I couldn't hold and pose the babies in person? But what was once a challenge turned into a craft. I can't say with certainty that I was the very first to do this, but if not, I was on the forefront of pioneering a unique method to offer this service. Since mid-March 2020, I have been working with family after family doing VIRTUAL NEWBORN SESSIONS...and they are INCREDIBLE!
All of the shots you see below are entirely POSED AND SHOT by parents, directed and edited by ME! I have developed a technique that allows me to adequately prep parents, guide them through an in-home set up, pose their newborns, direct their shooting (most often with cell phone cameras!) and then send me the files for final editing!
Sessions are $350 which include all pre-shoot consulting/prep, the virtual portion (usually lasting about an hour) and final editing of 5-7 images. Parent shots are available with the larger collection at $500 which will include 1-2 poses of baby with each parent and 10-15 digitals. If there is a third adult available, full family shots may be possible! Sibling shots ($550) are also possible though usually the success of these is more dependent on the cooperation of the older child and not the baby;)
IMPORTANT TO NOTE: Just like my regular newborn sessions, it's key that babies are 5-14 days old to be eligible for these so PLEASE reach out ahead of time so I can get you on my calendar
